The Key West Chapter of the Sunset Social Drinking Club was born in October of 2010 with the purpose of creating and strengthening relationships and professional friendships - all within a relaxed and fun atmosphere. About 9 times a year the members and friends of the SSDC gather at a local business (I.E. a hotel, restaurant, bar, or other awesome venue) to support our community, our sponsors, and to promote our host venue. The SSDC is all about lending a helping hand! We raise money for selected local lower Keys charities while celebrating island life - which includes cocktailing, enjoying hors d'oeuvres, and entertainment with friends.

     100% of our proceeds go to charity, and the benefactors collect their money immediately after each SSDC event. The SSDC members are proud to know that our organization has raised over $200,000 for various local charities. The Sunset Social Drinking Club is proud to be the driving force behind POSH (Paws Often Steal Hearts), a fundraiser for the FKSPCA, which is usually held the first Thursday in December. Last year at the 7th Annual POSH fundraiser, the SSDC raised over $20,000.
